Where to print a funeral photo today

The file from Tribute Portrait is a JPG and a PDF with bleed and crop marks. A local photo lab or print shop can print it. The counters named below are examples from the United States and Canada that, as of October 2026, still offer photo or poster printing on their own public pages. This page does not quote their prices or promise that your size will be ready today. Both change by shop, and the shop’s page is the one to trust.

Where can you print a funeral photo in the United States?

Walgreens Photo lists same-day pickup for many prints and posters, including large sizes such as 16×20 and 24×36, and says same-day timing is not guaranteed. CVS Photo lists poster prints with pickup. Walmart Photo lists custom posters, including large photo posters. Staples lists custom paper and foam-board posters, with in-store pickup for some of them.

Costco’s photo orders are placed through its photo site for delivery. Do not assume the warehouse can print a poster while you wait. If you are a member, check that site for the sizes it will ship.

For a standard 4×6 or an 8×10, a drugstore counter is the usual first stop. For a 16×20 easel or a 24×36 poster, ask that store whether it prints that size on site or sends it out. Bring the PDF if you want them to trim to the crop marks, or the JPG if they place the picture in their own template.

Where can you print one in Canada?

Shoppers Drug Mart’s photo service, Shoppers Photo, still prints photographs on photographic paper and offers store pickup for standard prints. Ask that location whether it can make an easel-size enlargement or only the smaller prints.

London Drugs runs a photolab with a long list of stores in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. Order through the photolab and pick the store it offers. Coverage is western Canada, not the whole country.

Staples stores in Canada print posters and large-format pieces. Confirm the size with the location, the same way you would in the United States.

Costco’s own notice says the photo department at Costco locations in Canada closed on February 14, 2021. Prints and enlargements can still be ordered from the Costco Photo Centre website and shipped. There is no photo counter in the warehouse to finish an easel while you are in the building.

What should you hand the clerk?

Use the download from the portrait, not a screenshot and not the watermarked preview. The PDF includes a 0.125 inch bleed and crop marks. Ask the shop to trim to those marks if you want the photograph to reach the edge of the sheet. The JPG is the same crop without asking them to understand printer’s marks.

The portrait does not include the name or the dates. If the poster needs type, the shop sets it outside the photograph, or you add it in their template. Say that out loud. A clerk who tries to be helpful may otherwise crop the face to make room for a caption.

What if the store cannot finish it today?

A program cover is a smaller file and is easier for a counter to print than a 24×36 poster. If the easel size has to be sent out, print the program locally and order the easel from the shop’s mail service. Check the store’s hours before you drive. A same-day offer on a national page still depends on that machine, that paper, and how many orders are already in line.
