Questions about funeral photo restoration

Short answers about restoration, print sizes, privacy, and refunds.

What do I receive?

Portrait is the restored photograph in every print size: program, easel, prayer card, bookmark, obituary, and a 16:9 still, as JPG and PDF. Video is four short clips, each in a different style, for slideshows and sharing. Portrait + video is the portrait and all four clips.

Why choose Tribute Portrait?

Sharper prints and a truer likeness. Your portrait comes as print files up to 7,276 × 10,876 pixels, files several times larger than most AI photo tools give you, made for easel prints. The face stays theirs: we restore and refine the photograph, and leave the face as it was. There’s no subscription or account.

How good are the results?

See for yourself: you get a free preview before you pay, and only pay if you love it. Each photo gets up to 3 free tries. We automatically re-run a result that fails our quality check up to 2 more times at no extra cost. If it still fails, that attempt counts as one try, and that result can’t be purchased. After 3 tries, you can buy any one that came out right. If none did, upload a different, clearer photo. Once free previews are used up, you can still buy, and we’ll restore the photograph for you. If we can’t restore it, we’ll handle it personally by email at support@tributeportrait.com.

How long does it take?

Minutes. The preview takes a few minutes; after payment, print files take about 2 minutes and the clips a few minutes more.

How do I get my restored photo or video?

Right after you pay, you’ll get a private download link. It works for 7 days from payment, so save your files. Free redos are available only during those days and do not extend them. After that, for further changes, email support@tributeportrait.com. A full refund ends access right away and deletes the files. A partial refund keeps your download link working. Lost the link? Email support@tributeportrait.com with the receipt number from your payment email and we’ll send it again.

What is the video?

Four short clips of the restored photograph, each in a different style: Smile + soft glow, Smile + slow push-in, Then and now, and Still photo + slow push-in. For slideshows and sharing. There’s no speech or music.

Is this made with AI?

Yes. AI restores the photograph and, if you choose, adds a plain studio background.

What photo should I upload?

The largest, clearest copy you have (JPG, PNG, or WEBP) that you have the right to use. If it’s too small to restore well, we’ll warn you first.

Will a black and white photo stay black and white?

Yes, unless you choose to add color. Color already painted on it is kept.

Can I keep the original background?

Yes. Choose “Keep the original background” when the place or something in the picture matters.

How sharp are the large prints?

Clear from a few feet away. A 16×20 file is 4,800 × 6,000 pixels, and the 24×36 is 7,276 × 10,876 at 300 pixels per inch, including bleed. Each size shows its real detail before you download.

Do I need an account?

No. Preview, pay once, and download; paid files are kept for 7 days.

Can I get a refund?

Most families never need one, because you see the finished portrait before you pay. The download page lets you redo the portrait free, up to 2 times, during the 7 days after payment. We automatically re-run a result that fails our quality check up to 2 more times at no extra cost. If it still fails, that attempt counts as one redo, and that result can’t be purchased. When both redos are used, pick any saved version, or email support@tributeportrait.com for further changes. A redo does not extend that time. A full refund ends access right away and deletes the files. A partial refund keeps your download link working.

What payment methods do you accept?

Credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Link. In the US you can also use Klarna, Afterpay or Cash App Pay. Checkout shows the options available to you.

How is payment handled?

Payment is handled securely by Stripe, with any tax added at checkout. Your card statement shows LINK.COM* TRIBUTE PORTRAIT (your bank may shorten it).

Are the photos private?

Yes. Your download link is private, and unpaid previews are deleted about 15 minutes after the last preview. A paid order keeps the photograph you uploaded for 7 days, then deletes it with the files. A free redo does not extend that time. A full refund ends access right away and deletes the files. A partial refund keeps your download link working. Photos are never used for training. See details on the privacy page.
