The same portrait, a different kind of gathering
A celebration of life often uses the same pieces as a funeral: a program, a photograph on a table or an easel, and a slideshow. Tribute Portrait does not have a separate product for that gathering. It restores one photograph and gives you those files.
People sometimes want a later, clearer picture, and sometimes the best face is in an older print that is faded or creased. Start with the photograph the family agrees looks like them. The preview is there so everyone can look before anyone pays.
What to put on the program and the board
Download the program sizes for a folded letter sheet or a full page, and an easel size if there is a stand in the room. The portrait file does not include the name, the dates, or a favorite line. Those are set in the program. Keeping them out of the photograph means a last-minute change of wording does not require a new restoration.
A plain studio background is calm on a program. Keep the original background when the boat, the kitchen, the garden, or the tool is the point of the picture. Say which you want before the preview. The restoration of the face is the same either way. Only the backdrop changes.
Slideshows
The portrait includes a 16:9 still, a picture rather than a video, sized for a screen. That is the file to drop into a slideshow the family is already building.
If you want the photograph itself to move, that is the video: four short clips, each in a different style, for the slideshow. The styles are smile and soft glow, smile and slow push-in, then and now, and still photo and slow push-in. You see the still portrait before payment, and the clips are made from it. There is no music and the person does not speak. The head stays still. Portrait + video is the portrait in every print size, plus all four clips.
Many celebrations play still photographs and do not need the clip. Order the clip only if someone has asked for a moving photograph in the room.
A practical order of work
Pick the photograph, make the preview, and send the preview link only in the sense of looking at one screen together. The preview lives in the browser that uploaded it. If the family agrees, pay, wait for the print files, and send the download link to whoever is printing.
Unpaid previews are deleted shortly after the last try. Paid files are kept for a limited time. Print the copies you need while the link works, and keep your own copy of the files. The privacy page states the schedule.
Nothing here replaces a conversation about which picture belongs in the room. It only makes the chosen photograph clear enough to print.
