Memorial slideshow photos

Memorial slideshow photos: a 16:9 still at 1,920 × 1,080 that comes with a portrait, plus four short clips if you want the photograph to move.

A memorial slideshow is usually a row of still photographs on a screen in the room. Tribute Portrait gives you a still sized for that screen, and, if you want the restored portrait itself to move for a few seconds, four short clips.

The 16:9 still

A portrait includes a slideshow still at 1,920 × 1,080, with a soft fill so a vertical photograph can sit in a wide frame. That file is a picture. Drop it into the slideshow the family is already building, next to the other photographs. It does not replace those other pictures, and it does not play by itself.

The same portrait also includes the program, the easel, the prayer card, the bookmark, and the obituary photo. One restoration covers the screen and the printed pieces. Names and dates stay in the slideshow’s own titles, not inside the photograph.

The four clips

Video is a separate choice. It is four short clips of the restored portrait, each in a different style: smile and soft glow, smile and slow push-in, then and now, and still photo and slow push-in. There is no music, and the person does not speak. The head stays still. The frame stays level. Smile and soft glow, smile and slow push-in, and the still push-in are about 6 seconds. Then and now is about 8 seconds.

You see the still portrait, watermarked, beside the original before you pay. The clips are made after payment, from that restored portrait, and each one usually takes a few minutes. Portrait + video is the portrait in every print size, plus all four clips. Prices are on the pricing page.

Many services play stills only. Order the clips when someone has asked for the photograph to move. If the slideshow already has music, leave the clips silent and let that music play. The longer description of each style is the memorial video page. A celebration of life that uses the same still is Celebration of life photo.

The moving clips are on the memorial video page.
