A funeral photo needed tomorrow

A funeral photo needed tomorrow or the same day. The restored portrait preview is ready in minutes. A hand retoucher often needs a day or more.

A service that is tomorrow, or later today, does not leave time for a long back-and-forth. Tribute Portrait is built for that afternoon. You upload one photograph, see a watermarked preview beside the original, and pay only if it looks like them.

The same portrait restored, with the flaking and streak cleaned and a plain studio background. The face is unchanged.
A restored portrait you can judge on the screen before anyone pays. Photo credit.

How long the files take

The preview usually takes a few minutes. After you pay, the print-size files are prepared, usually in about two minutes, and then they are on the download page. If you also buy the four short clips, each one usually takes a few minutes more and appears on that same page. There is no account to create.

A studio that retouches by hand often quotes 24 to 48 hours, and sometimes one to three days, because a person is painting the photograph. That is a different kind of work. It can be the right choice when the family wants a long, supervised edit and the service is not tomorrow. For a portrait needed the same day, the preview on this site is the way to see the face before you commit.

What “ready” does and does not include

Ready means the files are on your download page: program sizes, easel sizes from 11×14 through 24×36, a prayer card, a bookmark, an obituary photo, and a 16:9 still. The portrait does not add a name or the dates. It does not print itself. A local photo lab or print shop still has its own clock. Call that shop before you count on a 16×20 this afternoon. Where to print a funeral photo today lists the kind of counter to ask, and it does not promise a particular store can finish your size today.

Look at the preview on a large screen if you can. Scratches across a forehead are the thing to check. If the face is wrong, do not pay. Very small photos are the ones most likely to be redrawn, and the site says so before you continue. What restoration can and can’t fix is the short version of those limits.
